The following positions help plan our fundraising events, which are crucial to the success of our mission.
Develops a publicity plan that targets television, radio, and print media; generates media coverage and public information in advance of the event to assist with participant recruitment.
Distributes brochures/posters/flyers to neighborhood shops and businesses, assembles mailing lists, emails invitations and targets community events and/or leaders for leafleting.
Assists with the online registration process through regular communication and updates with registrants, providing support as needed.
Handles all of the record-keeping aspects of each event.
Secures food and beverages; arranges for pickup or delivery and oversees distribution during event.
Recruits and trains volunteers for tasks associated with a specific event.
Photographs the various aspects of all major Taking Back Lives’ events. (Photography experience and equipment required.)
Brainstorms, researches and develops new ideas for potential fundraising events to present to Taking Back Lives for consideration.
