How to Register to Walk

It's easy to register for our walkathon! Just follow these simple steps:

  1. Follow this link to our registration page.
  2. Click on Register for an event in the Want to Raise Money? box.
  3. Select the 2009 Taking Back Lives Walkathon
  4. You will then be given the following options:
    • Yes register online now (Yourself or others)
      • Already registered for this event on Firstgiving
      • Create my fundraising page
      • Have your registration code handy
    • Registered offline
    • Create my fundraising Page
  5. Click on Yes register online now and click Continue
  6. Enter the number of walkers you are registering, then read and click in the box indicating that you have read and agree to the waiver.
  7. You will then be instructed to log in or create an account. Follow the instructions and once completed, click on Continue
  8. Enter all of the required information if setting up a new account and registering. Click on Continue when finished
  9. If you would like to be part of a team, or form a new team, indicate your preferences on this page. If not, click on No, thanks. Skip this.
  10. Confirm your information and if everything is correct, you are finished registering. You can proceed to creating a fundraising page, or do it another time
    • Note: You will need your registration code if you decide to set up your page later

That's it! You're registered for the walkathon and can begin fundraising!
