Cassandra Yoder

After making her first trip to Malawi in 2007 , Cassandra founded Taking Back Lives with the mission of providing educational opportunities to the people of Malawi. Since that time, she has worked to build the organization into one that not only enhances the lives of Malawian children, but empowers our youth population in the United States as well. Cassandra is currently a sophomore at the University of Florida studying microbiology.

Kay Yoder

Kay's involvement began because of her daughter's volunteer efforts in Malawi in 2007. Calling upon her teaching background, Kay's focus has been on Taking Back Lives' educational projects in Malawi, as well as local programs to incorporate American students into the mission--guiding them towards a life-long commitment to helping those in need.

Dan McNeillie

Joining Taking back Lives in 2008, Dan has become an integral part of the team, assuming a wide variety of roles--including everything to do with web design and marketing. Visiting Malawi for the first time last summer, his goal is to return to the country to oversee the school-building project and implement the scholarship and community development programs.

Shannon Allison

Shannon's association with Taking Back Lives can be traced to the very beginning where she played an active role in the raising of funds to donate to the Dzanja La Chifundo Orphanage in Malawi. Presently, she is the Project Manager of Outreach, overseeing the internship program, in addition to pursuing her B.A. degree in history.

Matthew Robertson

Combining his interest in film and media with his passion for helping others, Matthew's primary focus with Taking Back Lives is to work on multimedia projects that raise awareness of the organization and its mission. In his spare time, Matthew likes to read and write, follow politics and world affairs, and to travel.

Michael Moran

Currently a 7th grade student at Haille Middle School, Michael's desire is to make a difference in the world. In addition to his involvement with many groups both in and out of school, his primary role with Taking Back Lives is to utilize his creative abilities into developing new designs for the merchandise line.

Nikki Dunguay

Nikki's affiliation with Taking Back Lives can be traced back to its inception, where she played an active role in many of its fundraising efforts. Currently a sophomore studying Art History at the University of Florida, she is responsible for producing the Taking Back Lives newsletter.
